Description of program:


The Health Occupations Program provides students with 1basic patient care skills and an opportunity to explore a wide range of career options in the health care field. Classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and work-based opportunities are included in the curriculum. This program is designed for students who want to learn skills for entry level health careers or who need a job in the health field to help pay for college. Students can achieve a maximum of four job titles in two years preparing them to work in a hospital, nursing home, clinic, home care position, doctor's office, pharmacy/drug store, or laboratory. The job potential is extensive.
