Networking and Cybersecurity

Program Description

The Networking & Cybersecurity course focuses on Linux servers, and computer/network hardware in alternating years.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in Cybersecurity competitions each year.  At the end of two years, students will be able to build and repair computers, pull network cables, and securely configure operating systems routers, and switches.  Successful students will have the opportunity to take the following industry certification exams:  Cisco CCT, LPI Linux Essentials, CompTIA A+, Network+, and Linux+.  A wide variety of high paying jobs and opportunities await students who earn certifications.
